Salty. Glebe. Tap: the end of 2018

Taskrz Three.jpg

Hope you’re all well.

We haven’t played live as TASKRZ since July - we’ve been so busy working on the latest Don’t Call Me Ishmael album. It’s going to be great to get back to it! Starting this Friday we have a short, sharp blast of shows before the end of 2018.

  • Friday 26 Oct - The Salty Dog, Northwich

  • Tuesday 30 Oct - The Glebe, Stoke

  • Thursday 22 Nov - The Artisan Tap, Stoke

After the Artisan Tap we don’t have anymore dates in our TASKRZ diary. We’re going to take a few months off to write some new songs, mess about with the key-bass set up and tour the third DCMI album. Please come along to any of the three TASKRZ shows if you can please.

Thanks so much,
Sophie, Laura and Jack x

Two gigs, chattin' with bears and the final hurdles

We've got two gigs this weekend. One is our triumphant return to York to play at The Basement on Saturday April 30th. You can grab tickets for it HERE

Then on Sunday Laura and JT will be appearing at The Situation's Birthday Bash in Leek on the Quiet Revolution stage, doing an acoustic duo show. We shared a few words about it with Bethany of Rebel Bear.

We're getting so close to the release of Wolf Party, it's going to be an amazing album that really showcases the diverse range of songwriters we've got in the band. We'll be announcing pre-orders and the release plan in coming weeks.

See you soon,

A slew of gigs and wolves

Today we announced a whole load of new dates on our never ending Madison or Bust Tour. One which really stands is our slot at CoCoMad 2016, a festival that takes place in Cotteridge Park, Birmingham. We auditioned for the festival a few weeks ago (see the poster) and out of all the bands that went in for it we were one of the few to be selected. The festival is Saturday 3rd July. For more information about all our upcoming gigs go to our LIVE page.

Right now we're focused on getting Wolf Party ready for its June release. There's a lot of intense work going on in the background, mixing tracks, designing the sleeve and preparing a launch. SBT is currently releasing artwork inspired by the themes of the new album. You can see the art by following our Instagram account
